Hush puppies are where it is at. Crab cakes are amazing!

Food was really good. Appetizer was forgotten. But otherwise I was pleased

There were few choices in town, these folks were open, friendly and the food was good and reasonable

Got takeout (shrimp basket for hubby, grouper basket for me. I had only one very small piece of fish! The fries were plentiful but just so so, the coleslaw and the huspuppies were outstanding. The buttermilk pie was okay, but way overpriced at $3.99 for a VERY small piece. Might try it again, but skip the pie.

Great food but could be hotter.. served warm... good service . worth the trip.

Great seafood at a great price

I should of listened to the other reviews about this place. Definitely not worth the price. Paid more for the oyster option on the basket and received only 6 tiny pieces. Tasted like they were canned and had mostly Breading on them. They could of thrown a few more in for how much I paid instead of filling the plate with cold fries. Wont be back

Called order in at 7:40 and it is 9:04 and still no food!!! Not one to complain but this is poor customer service! Especially with limited seating and not full capacity! Not worth it!!!!

Party of 6 who would have spent $200(+) there on Saturday, 26Oct19.Disrespectful teenaged waitress w/ a chip on her shoulder took our order. No cooperation or reasonable discussion, only profanity re. a minor situation. Wow, had to leave.Food and service was great the past 3 times we were there. Hope they choose employees who represent their brand a bit better.

Very casual restaurant period friendly people. Inexpensive. Delicious coleslaw. Nice service. I gave three stars because I felt it was extremely too casual or maybe it could have been a little bit professional on the side of the waiter. I would go back again.

Very Good food. Very Friendly. Very Clean bathroom. I would give it 5 stars if it was on the water. We will definitely go back to this place.

Great seafood friendly staff although the kids menu selection should be a little less expensive but my family loves the food always fresh and tasty will be back soon !!

So wanted to have a good place to go to eat. So disappointed. 3 small fingers of grouper for $19.99 and it was overcooked. Good potatoes and hush puppies, but not fresh or good salad. Neglectful wait staff and other employees was the main turnoff. Speaking loudly amongst each other, ignoring patrons, chatting about hospital visits, speaking harshly about another staff member over a $2 tip, just disconcerting to diners. I would have preferred being checked on, some water perhaps, and definitely a portion at least large enough to go on a sandwich.

The food here is fresh and very tasty. If you're in the area, you or it to yourself to check it out. Their grouper basket is my personal favorite. Also, they have great hush puppies and cole slaw. Whenever I'm in Carrabelle, I always try to go. Love this place!

Long wait but worth it best coleslaw ever!! Shrimp casadila was delicious, hushpuppies on point.

The food was good, but the service was not. We received refills on our drinks as we were getting ready to leave. The building was clean, but it was very hot in there, they may have been having air conditioning problems I’m not sure. I’d probably go back there, but I’d take my food to go due to the poor service.

The folks are kind. The food was very good! So was the keylime pie!!

Family has a place down on Dog Island and we never miss an opportunity to go to the fisherman's wife! I haven't had a bad meal here ever! Service has always been outstanding, and the owners are friendly and very professional. The restaurant itself is casual and it's in a nice location just a short distance from the locks. I highly recommend this restaurant anyone who enjoy good food!

Have seafood platter with 3 items: grouper, shrimp and scallops grilled. 3 sides fried okra, Cole slaw and dice potatoes. The grouper didnt taste like grouper, was kind of fishy. scallops tasted fresh and shrimp was a little overcook. The sides fried okra was fine, Cole slaw needed some mayo and dice potatoes ug was just fried no seasoning no dice with onions or peppers at least something to give them flavor nah just some fried nice potatoes that were oiled and not even toasty.This place was reccomended by a friend that visited yesterday. Must say that I was disappointed with my meal. The amount of money I spend in my meal was not worthy.

Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday. The place was absolutely packed, and there was only one server in the entire restaurant. It took a very long time to get anything to us..and the twelve dollars I paid for five shrimp was simply not worth it. These are easily fixable management problems, but I don't think we will be returning.

The service and food was amazing!!!

After reading through some of the reviews before coming to this place, I was almost scared to try it. However, knowing that people just love to complain and will often complain about anything they can think of, I went in with an open mind. I got a double cheeseburger with fries for $11.99, and it was an absolutely massive burger with plenty of dressings on it and a decent portion of fries. Everything tasted excellent, and while some fries on top weren't piping hot, most was hot and what wasn't hot was at least warm. Well worth the visit.

Just some really really good authentic fried seafood. The breading they use was incredible and the food was piping hot. Only thing is, not sure that the grouper was actual grouper. Didn’t taste like grouper and the price was surprisingly cheap to be grouper. Nevertheless, the food was sooooo good.

7 shrimp on top of a small plate of fries is not worth 16 bucks

Lots of food with good flavors. Small homey atmosphere. 5 of us ate for $80 and came out stuffed.

Very good seafood. Shrimp salad was awesome and my husband had fried oysters and grouper. Would recommend it!

OMG the grouper fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes are to die for. Some of the best food we've eaten since being in the area. Will eqt yhere again.

Fresh, properly cooked and well seasoned

House burger is fantastic! Huge and delicious. Onion rings good too. Slaw a little too sweet for me.
